Tahoe Donner is still seeing quite a bit of activity! 14 homes sold during the month of May 2010. This makes a total of 74 homes sold year to date. The least expensive home that sold last month was for $357K and the most expensive home sold for $1.1 million. The average home sale price was $626,117 and the median was $646,125.The homes were on the market an average of 107 days. The majority of the homes sold were in the $300K-$800K price range. 1 home that sold was a short sale and the rest were standard sales. There are now 117 homes on the market in Tahoe Donner (up from 85 last month). 13 homes listed are short sales and 5 are bank owned. 19 homes are currently in escrow. January Update for Tahoe Donner

10 single family homes sold in Tahoe Donner during the month of January 2010. This is an increase compared to January of 2009 with only 9 homes selling last year. The least expensive home sold for $279K and the most expensive home sold for $750,000. The average days on market for these sold homes was just 39 days. The average sales price was $482,010 and the median sales price was $430,000. 83 single family homes are now listed in Tahoe Donner. 14 are short sales and 2 are bank owned. 14 homes are currently under contract. Lake Tahoe & Truckee Monthly Real Estate Sales Stats

We are continuing to see more activity with home sales around the Truckee Tahoe area. 64 homes & 7 condos sold last month (June 2009). The most activity was in the $300K-$499K range (27 sold homes) and the $500K-$699K range (14 homes sold). 7 homes sold for under $299K, 10 homes sold in the $700-899K range, and 5 homes in the $900K-$1.1 mil. range. 1 home sold for over $2 million on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe.

The following chart shows the sales stats for the Lake Tahoe and Truckee area for March 2009. The chart breaks down the sold properties by area and by price range.
The most activity was in the $300K - $499K range (13 single family homes sold). 11 homes sold in the $500K - $699K range. There were 9 homes over $1 million that sold in March 2009. A total of 41 single family homes and 10 condos sold during the month of March.
