Home for Sale in Tahoe Donner
We are seeing an increase in the number of homes listed in Tahoe Donner. At the end of April there were 92 homes listed and there are now 119 homes listed in Tahoe Donner. We will likely continue to see inventory go up over the next few months during the busy selling season this summer.

117 single family homes have sold in our MLS so far for 2011! 48 single family homes sold last month.
The price range that continues to see the most activity is the $300K-$499K range. 17 homes in this price range sold last month. 12 homes sold for $299K or under. 8 homes sold for $500-$699K and 8 homes sold for $700K-$899K. Just 1 home sold for over $1 million last month. The sold price was $1.2 and the home was located in Homewood. 6 of the sold homes last month were short sales and 15 were REOs.

Another 52 homes sold last month (May 2010). 305 single family homes have sold now during 2010. The majority of home sales were in Truckee and Tahoe Donner with 18 and and 15 homes selling in each area respectively. The most activity for price range was in the $300K-$499K range with 20 homes selling. 10 homes sold in the $500K-$699K range. 8 homes sold for over $1 million and 3 of these were over $2 million. 21 condos sold last month as well.

Lake Tahoe & Truckee Monthly Real Estate Sales Stats

We have seen quite an influx in the number of homes in escrow in our MLS lately. 203 properties total are currently under contract! The number of sold homes was up this past month as well. 66 single family homes and 27 condos sold during August 2009. The most activity was in the $300K-$499K price range once again with 22 homes selling. We saw more activity in the upper end price range this past month though also. 9 homes sold for over $1 million!
