Lake Tahoe & Truckee March 2011 Real Estate Sales Stats

We are continuing to see quite a bit of activity in the Lake Tahoe and Truckee real estate market! 88 homes sold last month! This makes a total of 184 home sales in our MLS for 2011.

The price range that continues to see the most activity is the $300K-$499K range. 33 homes in this price range sold last month. 20 homes sold in the $400K-$599K range, and 17 sold for $299K or under.

7 homes sold for over $1 million in March! The most expensive home sold for $6.3 million.

Lake Tahoe & Truckee September 2010 Real Estate Sales Stats

Tahoe real estate sales are up! Another 84 homes sold last month. This makes a total of 624 year to date. Last year there were 538 home sales for the same time period. It’s encouraging to see some positive numbers!

The most homes sold in Tahoe Donner last month (26 homes) and in Truckee (19 homes). The $500K and under price range continues to see the most activity. Specifically, in the $300K-$499K range with 32 homes selling last month! Next was the $500K-$699K range with 18 sold homes. The upper end market saw a lot of activity as well with 17 homes selling for over $1 million!

Lake Tahoe/Truckee Real Estate Stats

The real estate numbers for the Truckee/Tahoe area are certainly up. 87 single family homes sold during the month of September! With 87 sold homes out of 999 active homes, the absorption rate is just around 9% which is not too bad. 28 condos sold in September. The majority of the sold homes were in the $300K-$499K price range with 32 total homes selling. 12 homes sold for $299K or less, 22 homes sold in the $500K-$699K range, and 12 in the $700K-$899K.

Some of the best numbers for last month’s sales was the influx in sales over $1 million with 10 homes selling in this range!

Lake Tahoe & Truckee Monthly Real Estate Sales Stats

We are continuing to see more activity with home sales around the Truckee Tahoe area. 64 homes & 7 condos sold last month (June 2009). The most activity was in the $300K-$499K range (27 sold homes) and the $500K-$699K range (14 homes sold). 7 homes sold for under $299K, 10 homes sold in the $700-899K range, and 5 homes in the $900K-$1.1 mil. range. 1 home sold for over $2 million on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe.
