Donner Lake

Donner Lake is conveniently located off I-80, just minutes from charming and historic downtown Truckee. The Pass and the lake were named after the unfortunate Donner Party, which met its fate in the winter of 1846. There is a state park providing great camping, public beaches and various hiking trails. Lake front homes, Condominiums, and smaller cottages are offered in this charming community.
