Donner Lake

Donner Lake is conveniently located off I-80, just minutes from charming and historic downtown Truckee. The Pass and the lake were named after the unfortunate Donner Party, which met its fate in the winter of 1846. There is a state park providing great camping, public beaches and various hiking trails. Lake front homes, Condominiums, and smaller cottages are offered in this charming community.

Lahontan

Lahontan is an exclusive gated community with a the Martis Creek natural trout stream, flowing through the community. It is the only private gated community in North Lake Tahoe and features a Tom Weiskopf 18 hole championship golf course.

The four season recreation center offer a variety of amenities to include: swimming pool, clay tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, saunas, steam rooms, restaurant, and full service golf shop. Enjoy the many miles of hiking and mountain biking trails in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter. Alpine Meadows

Alpine Meadows is a 10 minute drive from Truckee and only 5 miles from beautiful Lake Tahoe. This quiet community offers great skiing to include the Tiegel Terrain Park for children and the advanced Shreadows Terrain Park. There is also great hiking with many backwood lakes to explore. Alpine Meadows is also part of the annual Lake Tahoe Music Festival now in its 26th season.

Northstar

Northstar-at-Tahoe is a year round resort community located off of Highway 267 Truckee between Truckee and Lake Tahoe.

Amenities at Northstar include: 18 hole golf course, driving range, cross country and downhill skiing, swimming pools, sauna, spas, weight room, tennis courts, equestrian center, conference center, restaurants and shops. Owners at Northstar have the option to purchase a membership with the Tahoe Mountain Club.
